Thanks for the post, good info. its hard to find useful information these days. every blog or site you go to is just copy posting the same old content just to be "blogging". its refreshing to hear something different, no matter the topic. anyway thank you.

Parking Services will be making the lower entrance off Mason Pond Dr available to Mason Pond Dr available in the mornings-email will be going out. It's actually more of a traffic flow issue than staffing issue as the lanes on Mason Pond Dr aren't enough to handle both visitor and permit traffic on a regular basis-thus why it has been separated. The access equipment is not down on Mason Pond Dr so deck permit holders will have to pull a ticket as if a visitor and proceed up to level 3 exit gate, proceess ticket there(free if less than 15 minutes) and then proceed into normal permit section-permit holders cannot park in visitor areas without paying. Contractor says Aquia Creek Ln deliveries should be done by around 12:30pm each of these days until end of month so permit holders should use Aquia Creek Ln as normal after 12:30pm.

I spent many un-productive hours at the Rat in the late 70s & early 80s, as well. It was anything but a sports bar. Dr. Bob from the Ethics dept. used to hold his office hours there. And I'd love to hear from Pierce Bates or Doug Olmsted - we haven't been in touch in a long time.

I was at Smokey Bones the other day and saw the greatest invention I have ever seen! It was a football field goal post with a football attached to urinal screen in the urinal and it was genius! Guys aim at it while relieving themselves. You have to see it yourself, the website of the company that makes them is at www.direct-aim.com and every sports bar should have these!
